Evolution of a Rotating Black Hole with a Magnetized Accretion Disk
نویسنده
چکیده
The effect of an accretion disk on the Blandford-Znajek process and the evolution of a black hole are discussed using a simplified system for the black hole accretion disk in which the accretion rate is supposed to be dominated by the strong magnetic field on the disk. The evolutions of the mass and the angular momentum of the black hole are formulated and discussed with numerical calculations. PACS: 98.70.Rz, 97.60.Lf

Unipolar Induction of a Magnetized Accretion Disk around a Black Hole
The structure and magnitude of the electromagnetic field produced by a rotating accretion disk around a black hole were determined. The disk matter is assumed to be a magnetized plasma with a frozenin poloidal magnetic field. The vacuum approximation is used outside the disk.
متن کاملStability of accretion disk around rotating black holes: a pseudo-general-relativistic fluid dynamical study
We discuss the solution of accretion disk when the black hole is chosen to be rotating. We study, how the fluid properties get affected for different rotation parameters of the black hole. We know that no cosmic object is static in Universe. Here the effect of the rotation of the black hole to the space-time is considered following an earlier work of the author, where the pseudo-Newtonian poten...
متن کاملChaotic motion of Charged Particles in an Electromagnetic Field Surrounding a Rotating Black Hole
The observational data from some black hole candidates suggest the importance of electromagnetic fields in the vicinity of a black hole. Highly magnetized disk accretion may play an importance rule, and large scale magnetic field may be formed above the disk surface. Then, we expect that the nature of the black hole spacetime would be reveiled by magnetic phenomena near the black hole. We will ...
متن کاملDisk-Jet Coupling in Black Hole Accretion Systems I: Order within Chaos
General relativistic numerical simulations of magnetized accretion flows around black holes show accreting gas with chaotic motions at equatorial latitudes and coronae and outflows with chaotic magnetic field at higher latitudes. However, the same simulations also produce highly relativistic, Poynting-dominated jets that are nearly consistent with the stationary paraboloidal Blandford-Znajek mo...
متن کاملDisk-Jet Coupling in Black Hole Accretion Systems I: General Relativistic Magnetohydrodynamical Models
General relativistic numerical simulations of magnetized accretion flows around black holes show a disordered electromagnetic structure in the disk and corona and a highly relativistic, Poynting-dominated funnel jet in the polar regions. The polar jet is nearly consistent with the stationary paraboloidal Blandford-Znajek model of an organized field threading the polar regions of a rotating blac...
